About us

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can raise a child and create a better future for them.

Mercy Lanka is a compassionate and dynamic humanitarian nongovernmental organization (NGO)
committed to social transformation in Sri Lanka since 2005. Officially registered under the NGO Secretariat
(Reg. No. L-94414, April 4, 2005),
Mercy Lanka strives to bring lasting change to the lives of those
most in need.

Operating across 10 districts, we address the root causes of poverty, inequality, and social exclusion by partnering closely with communities. Our innovative, inclusive, and sustainable welfare programs empower individuals, uplift families, and strengthen communities.

Guided by compassion, integrity, and hope, we create real, measurable
impact—ensuring access to basic needs, quality education, sustainable livelihoods, and resilience for the vulnerable. Mercy Lanka envisions a future where every person has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of background or circumstance.
